Today's items rhyme with the plan more than usual. Robopocalypse getting Howard/Goldsman packaging says the market for AI-and-what-makes-us-human stories — END PROGRAM's exact territory (plank 4) — is being bought at the top of the business right now; the campaign's job is to keep the book in front of the right New York readers while that appetite is live, and a form pass from BookEnds doesn't change the math with three fulls still reading. The copyright/opt-out movement is the other side of the same coin: consent and authorship are becoming infrastructure, which is precisely your settled position — your words, AI as editorial support — and it strengthens the Teaching Library's long-term value as a clean, rights-clear corpus (plank 6 quietly compounding underneath). The market split makes the same point in another language: durable platforms over leveraged buildout. Your version of that is today's calendar — a protected writing block, one Ascension deep-work block, nothing forced. Emergence is congruent conditions plus disciplined action; today is built that way.
"Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now."
— Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet (Letter Four, July 16, 1903; Stephen Mitchell translation)
Reading: the same letter goes on — "Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer." A few sentences; worth reading whole today.
Why this one, today: a form pass, three fulls still out, and a recovery week that asks for patience anyway — Rilke's point is that patience here isn't waiting, it's the working condition. The campaign, SLEEPERS and the library are all in the "live the questions" stage at once; the answers arrive by ripening, not by forcing.
